Meet Adelaide Meadow.

Meet Adelaide Meadow.

Hi, I’m Adelaide Meadow.

I approach women’s health, birth, movement, and feminism from a physiological perspective, and believe in the genius of the body and the brilliance of women.

Every woman that has made feminist history has done so by contending with the reality of her female body and utilizing her unique capacity as a woman to enact change. In our reclamation of women’s health, it is essential that we acknowledge and learn from the women who came before us, centering physiology in our historical and feminist studies. We rise in the context of all the women who have risen before us.

In my work with women, we deepen our body literacy, create lifestyle practices that center female health, and unlearn everyday actions that harm our pelvic health. I teach this work through female mentorship, body literacy education, strength-training for women, well-woman care, woman-centered movement, and deep dives into physiology and feminism.

I am a farm girl from New England, currently living in rural North Carolina. I grew up watching farm animals be born and living with the natural cycles of life and death. My first and most enduring loves are horses, dogs, and living a faith-led life.

My Journey

My practices are based not only on formal study but also on personal experience. Following an accident that resulted in severe head and pelvic trauma, I surpassed all medical recovery predictions through self-study and functional movement, and women's-based medicine. You can hear more about my decade-long healing journey by browsing any of the media features below.

What I'm About:

Everything in the female body is designed to support optimal sexual and reproductive health. And yet, female pelvic health is most often overlooked in women’s healthcare, exercise spaces, perinatal care and our modern culture as a whole. I study and teach female physiology, midwifery, and feminist history from a women-centered perspective to pave the way for vibrant female health and culture.

 LEt's Collaborate

I guest teach in yoga teacher trainings, childbirth education classes, medical residency programs, and other live events where women are centered and their physical wellness is a priority.
